how the cpanel license work

I own a VPS. I have problem setting it up.

Can I rent the cPanel/DA license for a month to setup my VPS and stop renting it after that? I know how to admin the server after the initial setup.

Would my VPS still work after I stop paying the license?

Hello,

I have replace Apache with LiteSpeed Enterprise then i have compile PHP by LiteSpeed web interface and LiteSpeed reads Apache configs from /usr/local/directadmin/data/users/*/httpd.conf my question is:

Can i use suEXEC with standard chmods 644 (files) and 755 (dirs) ? Becouse when i have change owner of PHP file where chmod is 644 LiteSpeed reads it good.

Problem with WHMCS Cron Job

Every night, I get a ‘WHMCS NetEarthOne Domain Syncronisation Report’ sent to my email and every night I get the same errors.

All domains that aren’t hosted on my server are fine, but any domains that are say ‘Error for exampledomain.co.uk: Website doesn’t exist for exampledomain.co.uk

Has anyone ever come across this before?

Some time ago I’m looking for a hosting company offering many services, its main characteristic was that they offered their own control panel, it was like a Windows window, with icons and the panel seemed to "My Computer", someone know it? … They are offering Reseller hosting, The panel was very pretty

And they had a Control Panel demo for each service, a demo for Resellers, a demo for Dedicated Servers, for Shared accounts.

Building servers for a specific application.

Hi,

I’m hoping someone could shed some light with this little challange

Situation:

Developing (paying someone to do it)an application(windows based) for my company. It will be similar to stock maintenance application. Because it data gets updated literally 24/7 the uptime needs to be as high as possible. Due to limited budget, there is only money for 2 servers.
My initial thought was, 1 server for the application itself and the other for database. But I am also looking at a testing server which got me to thinking about dividing those 2 servers into virtual servers.

My questions are:

1. Is it adviseable to divide them up into virtual servers?
2. If so, how do I do that? Xen?
3. How do I ensure stability/reliability?
4. Backups? Redundancy (uptime)?
5. Load balancing?
6. What kind of minimum servers spec should I start with?

I hope some of my questions can be answered

Is there a script or addon cacti mod out there that can be use to display Cacti graphs and the bandwidth in+out GB and 95th percentile in TEXT format on a non-cacti page? Like a custom PHP page?
